Liteplan’s NED emergency lighting conversion modules carry ENEC approval and BSI Kitemark they have been specifically designed to convert a wide range of LED types with just two main stock items. The standard NED/3 is the best choice for converting most standard LED luminaires and arrays, containing from 2 to 20 LED chips in series (6 to 60 Volts) whilst the NED/3/80 extends the voltage range, converting from 2 to 30 LED chips in series (6 to 80 Volts).
The NED range automatically adjusts the output current to provide the best match between the battery and the load, providing maximum illumination whilst ensuring full battery duration.
Liteplan also offer a high output version of the NED/3/80, known as the NED/6/80. This module operates with a 7.2V 4.5Ah battery which roughly doubles the ballast lumen factor (BLF). This option would be recommended for longer runs of LED strip or for higher wattage fittings that require more output in emergency.
The NED/3 and the NED/6 have a load current limit of 2A. When converting loads with a higher current, you will need to specify the NED/3/80/HI or the NED/6/80/HI. These kits will handle drive currents up to 8A.
